Chichester-based author Gabrielle Kimm will be talking in Chichester Library on Thursday 9th February at 7.30 pm. Gabrielle will talk about her new book The Courtesan’s Lover and creative writing in general.
The Courtesan’s Lover, which was published in November 2011, is a spin-off from her first novel, His Last Duchess. The book takes the character of Francesca, formerly the mistress of the complex Duke of Ferrara in His Last Duchess, and places her centre-stage in her own novel.
Gabrielle Kimm will talk about the writing and researching of her novel and about the glamorous and dangerous world of the Renaissance courtesan.
