So, happy New Year everyone. I hope all our readers and followers had a fab Christmas and New Year, seems a long time ago already doesn’t it?
So, what is in store for Chichester Creative Network, and where do we go from here? Well, as some of you may have noticed, activity, features and articles tailed off somewhat towards the end of last year. The reasons are thus, Katy and I are extraordinarily busy. We both have our own businesses to run. My own workload has increased dramatically, plus which I have the real life commitment of a family to look after. Due to these pressures, sustaining CCN became untenable and I considered closing down the magazine after Christmas. However, pressure was applied and I have been asked to carry on.
But, to that end I made this decision. I intend to carry on with CCN for another six months and will review the situation again then. But, if we are to carry on with CCN, then we need more features writers. In fact, we cannot go on without more support and involvement. That is not to say we don’t get sent copy, but much of it is unsuitable, needs heavily editing, or there is not enough information, no images, or images aren’t large enough etc.
So, if you want some featured on the site, then please read the following guidelines:
- A write up that includes two to three paragraphs at least.
- Clearly and concisely written.
- Good images, a width of 600px minimum.
So, hoping for a good six months with lots of news, features and more writers. If you are interested in becoming a features writer, then please contact lorrie@illusiocreative.co.uk
Thanks everyone…
Back soon…
Lorrie
